English-Speaking Psychotherapist in Leipzig
My therapeutic approach
I work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – a scientifically proven and structured method that focuses on identifying and changing dysfunctional thought and behavior patterns.
The goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to give you tools you can use independently in everyday life. Therapy becomes a process in which you actively participate and gradually regain more control over your life.

Specialisations
Over the past two decades, I have specialised particularly in:
- Depression
- Burn-out
- Panic disorder & agoraphobia (fear of panic attacks in public spaces)
- Social anxiety disorder (fear of social situations or performance)
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) (compulsions, obsessive thoughts, rituals)
This focus allows me to work with in-depth expertise and offer targeted support to patients with these specific conditions.
Why CBT?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is one of the most effective forms of psychotherapy. It is:
- Structured & transparent – goals and methods are clear from the beginning
- Evidence-based – effectiveness has been proven in numerous studies
- Practical & solution-oriented – patients gain concrete strategies for daily life
