Über mich

I am married, a mother of four children, and have been working in my own private practice in Leipzig for 20 years.
I studied psychology at the University of Leipzig, Dresden and Cambridge (UK) and completed my training as a psychological psychotherapist in cognitive behavioural therapy at the Institute of Psychotherapy in Dresden.
Before focusing fully on psychotherapy, I worked in London as a consultant for a strategic management consultancy. These experiences have broadened my perspective: understanding both the complexity of organizations and the depth of individual challenges.
At the University of Dresden’s outpatient treatment center, I specialized in anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders, gaining in-depth knowledge and experience that still forms a strong basis of my therapeutic work today.
In my practice I combine evidence-based methods with a holistic perspective. For me, psychotherapy means not only working on symptoms, but supporting people in restoring self-regulation, vitality, and confidence in their own abilities.
