Process and Costs
Process
At the beginning of therapy, we clarify together whether behavioural therapy is the right approach for you. In the initial sessions (the so-called probatory sessions), you have the opportunity to get to know me and my therapeutic style. These sessions also serve to develop a preliminary understanding of your difficulties and goals.
If we decide to work together, I will apply for cost coverage with your health insurance (for privately insured patients or civil servants with Beihilfe). Self-paying patients can start directly.
Therapy sessions usually take place once per week, last 50 minutes, and follow a structured, goal-oriented approach – while remaining flexible enough to address what matters most to you in the moment.

Costs
As a licensed psychological psychotherapist, I bill according to the official catalogue of fees for psychotherapists (GOP).
The following groups can usually have the costs covered:
- Private health insurance
- Civil servants (Beihilfe)
For self-paying patients, the costs are covered directly by the patient.
The standard fee according to GOP is 100.55 € per 50-minute session.
In some cases, patients with statutory health insurance may apply for reimbursement (“Kostenerstattungsverfahren”). This needs to be clarified directly with your health insurance before starting treatment. Please note: this procedure often involves additional administrative work and is not always approved.
